Cotton Bowl sold out for sixth consecutive year

The game has sold out every year since moving to AT&T Stadium in 2010.

The Cotton Bowl is sold out, organizers announced Wednesday. The game, scheduled for Jan. 1, will be the lead-in to the College Football Playoff semifinals at the Rose and Sugar bowls. The national championship is Jan. 12 at AT&T Stadium. The Cotton Bowl has sold out every year since it moved to AT&T Stadium in 2010.
