UT Arlington announces two basketball signings

Kaelon Wilson of Lancaster and Nathan Hawkins, a Nebraska transfer from Rowlett join three others in the class.

UT Arlington has announced the basketball signings Kaelon Wilson of Lancaster and Nathan Hawkins, a Nebraska transfer from Rowlett.

Hawkins, a 6-foot-5 guard, will sit out the 2014-15 season and have three years of eligibility remaining starting with the 2015-16 season. He averaged 16.4 points and 7.1 rebounds his senior season at Rowlett.

Wilson, a 6-2 guard, started three years at Lancaster and averaged 13.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists as a senior.

Hawkins and Wilson joined a recruiting class that includes Dallas Lincoln High School guard Erick Neal, Mansfield Lake Ridge High School forward Julian Harris and Arlington Bowie High School forward Kevin Hervey.
