TCU golfers Julien Brun and Paul Barjon were selected to the 2014 All-Academic Big 12 Golf Team, the league announced Wednesday. Brun earned first-team honors for the second consecutive season, while Barjon was named to the second team.

First team members maintained a 3.20 or better grade-point average; second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.

Brun, who has been named to an all-conference academic team all three seasons at TCU, has finished in the top 12 in nine of the 11 tournaments this season and is ranked as high as No. 8 by Scratch Players world amateur ranking.

Barjon, a sophomore, has tied a school single-season record with six eagles during the 2013-14 campaign.

The Big 12 Championship is April 25-27 at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Trinity.
