TCU returns to Fort Worth on Wednesday night after a two-game road swing in which the Horned Frogs went 0-2.

The Frogs (14-11, 5-8 Big 12) are hopeful their first game against Kansas State (10-14, 4-9) this season will right the ship. Although the Wildcats beat TCU twice last season, the two losses were by a total of four points.

While the Frogs have suffered a downward trend, sophomore guard Zahna Medley has hit a hot streak, averaging 22.2 points over the last five games. She is sixth in the Big 12 in scoring, averaging 16.5 points per game.

Kansas State leans heavily on its outside shooting to carry the offense, ranking second in the Big 12 with 6.5 3-pointers per game. Seven Wildcats have hit at least 14 3-point shots this season.

The Wildcats are led by freshman guard Leticia Romero, averaging 14.4 points per game. Kansas State has lost three in a row on the road and won only three games away from home this season.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams, with Kansas State leading the series 2-1.

Coach Jeff Mittie is going for his 300th victory at TCU.
