The TCU women’s basketball team returns home after a rugged road trip that saw losses to two ranked teams when it plays Texas at 1 p.m. Sunday at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
The Horned Frogs return after dropping a 65-53 contest to No. 11 Oklahoma State on Tuesday despite guard Zahna Medley’s fourth Big 12 game this season with double-digit points. Medley had 17.
Texas has won three of its last four games thanks to strong defensive play. The Longhorns hold opponents to the second-lowest field-goal percentage nationally at 32.8 percent and is second in the Big 12 in scoring defense at 55.6 points per game.
Junior forward Nneka Enemkpali leads Texas in scoring with 13.5 points per game and is second in rebounding in the Big 12 with 8.2 rebounds per game.
Sunday’s game will mark the 33rd meting between the programs, and every one so far has been a Longhorns victory.
