Following a hard-fought loss in their Sun Belt Conference opener, the UT Arlington women play host to Arkansas-Little Rock at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
“It’s all between the ears,” freshman forward Allyson Te’o said following Thursday’s 66-62 loss to Arkansas State. “If we tell ourselves we’re good, then we’re good.”
The Mavericks (1-11) turned the ball over on three of their last four possessions in the loss to the Red Wolves.
Coach Krista Gerlich admitted that fatigue, both mental and physical, played a role in the loss.
Little Rock is coming off a 42-35 loss at Texas State in the Sun Belt opener for each.
