TCU women take down UT Pan Am after 10-day layoff

The TCU women’s basketball team had 10 days to work introspectively before Sunday’s game against UT Pan American.
Through an ice storm then finals, the Horned Frogs utilized the extra work to step up their game and take down UTPA 73-47 on Sunday at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
Junior guard Natalie Ventress led all scorers with a season-high 18 points, followed by sophomore guard Zahna Medley and junior guard Donielle Breaux with 11.
Medley collected her 100th career 3-pointer, becoming the second fastest to do so in TCU history.
Sophomore guard Veja Hamilton tied her career high in assists with five.
TCU (6-3) shot 38.3 percent (23 of 60) from the field while holding UTPA (5-4) to 24.2 percent (15 of 62).
