TCU’s offensive makeover continues.

Sonny Cumbie will be the Horned Frogs’ next quarterback coach, several sources close to the program have confirmed.

Cumbie comes from Texas Tech where he has been an assistant. He spent the 2013 season as the Red Raiders’ co-offensive coordinator and outside receivers coach. Cumbie joins Doug Meacham, who was recently hired to be TCU’s offensive coordinator.

TCU has not announced the new positions of former co-offensive coordinators Rusty Burns and Jarrett Anderson. Burns had also coached quarterbacks and Anderson also coached running backs.
