The TCU men’s basketball team hits the road for its first true away matchup Sunday against Washington State.

TCU (1-2) left its last matchup, a 71-64 win over Abilene Christian on Tuesday, banged up, without the services of guard Hudson Price and junior forward Amric Fields, who has yet to make his season debut for the Frogs.

Since Tuesday, TCU has had the remainder of the week to heal and recover before Sunday’s tilt, the third all-time between the programs.

The series between the teams is tied 1-1, with the last meeting a 73-52 Washington State win in Pullman in 2003.

The Cougars (2-1) are led by junior DaVonte Lacy, who averages 21 points per game while completing just under 45 percent of his shots from the field.

Following Sunday’s game, TCU will continue up to Anchorage for the Great Alaska Shootout.
