It didn’t take Alex Rincon long to excite his hometown crowd.
Rincon, a Dallas resident who entered the ring wearing a Dez Bryant jersey, didn’t even need a full round to bloody up and knock out Austin’s Zachary Briones.
Rincon went after Briones in a hurry, and knocked him out in a couple minutes of a scheduled four-round middleweight fight on Saturday night as part of the Golden Boy on ESPN undercard outside of the Ford Center.
Rincon improved to 2-0 with two knockouts. Briones fell to 1-4.
