Dallas Cowboys secondary coach Jerome Henderson is interviewing today with the Atlanta Falcons for a position on their staff.
It is the second position Henderson has interviewed for this week. He interviewed in Jacksonville for the coordinator job on Monday.
Henderson also interviewed for the Cleveland Browns’ head coach job earlier this month.
His contract with the Cowboys expired after the season and he has been in talks with the team to return. He has said he would only leave the Cowboys for a promotion and wasn’t interested in a lateral move.
The Falcons have a coordinator in Richard Smith and he will remain in that role. They have a secondary coach in Marquand Manuel and a passing game coordinator in Raheem Morris.
How it all would fit for Henderson remains unclear.
Henderson, who has been with the Cowboys since 2012, has a history with Falcons coach Dan Quinn.
Both were on staff together with the New York Jets in 2007-2008.
