Cats rally late to beat Brownsville

Ryan Lashley and Chad Kruse both went 3 for 4 and scored on wild pitches in the eighth inning as the Fort Worth Cats rallied late for a 5-4 victory Thursday over the Brownsville Charros at LaGrave Field.

Lashley doubled with one out in the eighth. Kruse followed with a single and stole second. With two outs, Lashley scored on a wild pitch to tie the game at 4-4. Kruse scored the go-ahead run on another wild pitch.

Chase Johnson pitched the ninth for his ninth save.
