Fort Worth Cats score 6 in eighth to rally past Rio Grande Valley

An explosive eighth inning saw the Fort Worth Cats rally from four runs back to defeat the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings 10-8 at Harlingen Field on Sunday.
Adam Kam had one of five run-scoring hits for the Cats in the top of the eighth. Tim Alberts knocked in a run and later scored on a double play with no outs for an 8-8 tie. Oscar Garcia (RBI triple) and Ryan Lashley (RBI single) made it 10-8.
Cats reliever Chase Johnson (3-3) threw a scoreless ninth.
