Cats rally late to beat San Angelo

The Fort Worth Cats scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat the San Angelo Colts 7-3 on Thursday night at LaGrave Field.

With the score tied 3-3 in the eighth, Cory Morales and Ryan Lashley had back-to-back RBI hits to give Fort Worth a 5-3 lead. The Cats (21-18) added two more runs in the inning on a passed ball and a sacrifice fly.

Chase Johnson pitched a scoreless top of the eighth for his second victory of the season.
