Cats rally late from six-run deficit to pull out win

The Fort Worth Cats rallied from a 6-0 deficit with three runs in the seventh and four in the eighth to pick up a 7-6 victory over the Brownsville Charros on Saturday night at LaGrave Field.

Cory Morales scored on a sacrifice fly by Oscar Garcia, and Ryan Lashley added a two-run home run with two outs in the seventh as the Cats cut the deficit to 6-3.

The Cats took the lead with four runs on three hits and an error. Sam DiMatteo was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to make it 6-4.

Garcia tied the game with a two-run single, and DiMatteo scored the go-ahead run on a error by the pitcher to give Ben Ruff the win in relief.
