The Fort Worth Cats scored seven runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Brownsville Charros 7-6 on Sunday night at LaGrave Field.

Trailing 6-0 entering the ninth, the Cats used four hits and five walks to complete the incredible comeback.

Pinch hitter Michael Pair scored the game-winning run on a weak ground ball to second by third baseman Louie Saenz.

Cats starter Nick Thornton allowed five runs in five innings, but the bullpen kept Fort Worth in the game, giving up only one run through the next four innings.

Charros reliever Chris Trebit took the loss. He allowed three runs without recording an out.

The Cats (13-13) are off Monday before heading to San Angelo for a six-game series with the Colts (7-11).
