Adam Barry went 2 for 3 with two runs and three RBI to help the Fort Worth Cats beat Brownsville 5-3 Thursday night at LaGrave Field.
The win snaps a three-game losing streak for Fort Worth.
Oscar Garcia got the scoring started for the Cats with a two-run triple in the second inning.
Barry gave the Cats some insurance in the fifth inning with a two-run home run, his first of the season, that gave Fort Worth a 5-1 lead.
Trent Montgomery got the win giving up three runs on eight hits in 7 1/3 innings.
