Ticket information: Tickets can be purchased online at www.CrownePlazaInvitational.com or at the official ticket outlet located on the east side of University Drive, across from University Park Village, three blocks from the course. No tickets will be sold at the course entry gates during tournament week. Public ticket prices: Champions Club badge (Wed.-Sun.), $225; Grounds badge (Wed.-Sun.), $100; Daily ticket, $45 (one-day admission, Wednesday-Sunday). Daily youth tickets (ages 13-17) are $15. Children 12 and under are free. No tickets are needed Tuesday. Tickets also can be purchased at area Tom Thumb stores.
Television: Thursday-Friday rounds (Golf Channel, 2-5 p.m.); Saturday-Sunday rounds (Golf Channel, noon-1:30 p.m.; KTVT/Ch. 11, 2-5 p.m.)
Parking: Public parking and shuttles are available at Farrington Field (University Drive & Lancaster), beginning Wednesday, and TCU’s Amon Carter Stadium. Cost is $10. Wednesday-Sunday. Tuesday parking at TCU is free.
Frost Park: New this year in 2014, the main entrance and Fan Fest will be accessed through the city park located on University Drive and Colonial Parkway next to the course. Shuttle buses will drop off and pick up spectators at this location. Live music will be presented in the park at the conclusion of play Thursday-Saturday.
Traffic flow changes: Because traffic flow will be more restricted on neighborhood streets in the Colonial area in 2014, fans are urged to use the public parking lots at TCU and Farrington Field and shuttle to events during tournament week.
New security measures: The PGA Tour has heightened security procedures at its tournament entrances. All attendees will be wanded at entrances. Review the tournament’s website for detailed information on what bags, purses and other items that are prohibited and should be left at home or in the car.
Tournament highlights: Tuesday (free admission) — Practice rounds, all day. Wednesday — Crowne Plaza Pro-Am, morning flight begins at 6:50 a.m.; afternoon flight begins at noon. Thursday-Sunday — Tournament rounds, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Awards ceremony on 18th green after the final round.
Will Call note: The Will Call office will be located in Log Cabin Village. Patrons should go by Will Call before parking their car for the tournament. After picking up their packet, patrons should then drive to their designated parking lot. For maps and other information, go to http://www.CrownePlazaInvitational.com and click on “Spectator Info.”
Mobile Device Policy: All mobile devices must remain on silent mode at all times. Phone calls can be received or made only in designated Cell Phone Zones located on-course and identified with signage. Mobile devices may not be used for video recording at any time, and cannot be used for still photography Thursday-Sunday.
Spectator notes: The following items are prohibited on the course: large purses or bags, firearms, backpacks, clipboards, cameras (not allowed Thursday-Sunday), glass containers or alcohol. These items will be confiscated if brought to the tournament. All purses and bags will be inspected. No large bags allowed. Small stools/sports chairs are allowed.
Autograph information: Posters and autograph items larger than 8x12 inches should not be brought to the tournament. Clipboards are not allowed. Player autograph area is under awning outside the players’ locker room.
