About the Predators: Nashville is averaging only 2.4 goals per game, which is 25th in the NHL. But the Predators have scored 11 goals in the past three games while earning two victories. ... The Predators also have struggled in goal with Pekka Rinne out since Oct. 24 with a hip infection. Rinne recently was cleared to begin more strenuous rehab activities, but there is no timetable for his return. Nashville on Wednesday acquired goaltender Devan Dubnyk from the Edmonton Oilers.
