The Stars gave up two quick power-play goals in a 30-second span in the final minute of the first period. … The Stars have lost three of their past four games and have slipped into a three-way tie for last place in the tough Central Division with Nashville and Winnipeg, eight points behind the fourth-place Minnesota Wild. All seven teams in the division have .500 records or better. …Tyler Seguin has not scored a point since his three-goal, one-assist game a week ago against the Philadelphia Flyers.
About the Jets: Winnipeg is coming off a 4-3 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday and has lost two straight at home, where they are 7-7-4 this season. The Jets are 3-10-3 against the Central Division this season. … Winnipeg’s scoring leading is center Bryan Little with 20 points (13 goals, 16 assists), but right winger Blake Wheeler (23 points), defenseman Dustin Byfuglien (22 points) and Andrew Ladd (22 points) have also been productive.
