Q: Chris Davis has been a pleasant surprise this year and deserves to play in his natural position. Long term, does he play first or third for the Rangers? Hank Blalock's weak arm ought not be reason to move Davis to third if this is a rebuilding team.

A: Chris is definitely a first baseman for the future. Hank has been a staple here. It's a compliment to Jon Daniels and the Rangers. The only way to get Hank on the field was to put him at first. A: A lot of that is going to depend on his health. As long as C.J. understands this is a competitive business, there's no reason he can't return. All of that is going to depend on C.J.
