Q: Why would this government deprive it's citizens the right to bear arms, when it was us and our weapons that got us to be "Americans" in the first place? Without weapons there would be no "American". Thank your lucky stars we have guns! America IS because of guns. No Guns, no America. Are we not grateful to the almigty gun?? Hail the N.R.A.

A: History is replete with examples of why a government would want to deny its citizens that right. I'm hopeful that our elected leaders never sees fit to do the same.
