Q: I was just wondering if Andy died in prison? I knew him when I was younger and one of my friends at the time was dating him. I have read all of the chapters online, the documentary did not give nearly as much detail as the book did. Has this book been published and is it for sale to the public?

A: Hi Laurar and welcome everyone to the chat. We really appreciate all your great questions. Andy is still alive in prison, but will certainly die there. Serving two consecutive life sentences, he would have to live to be more than 100 before being eligible for parole. The only place that the series has been published in the Star-Telegram, though there are some discussions of it being published in book form. Stay tuned.Submitted by Pam from Corpus Christi,TX
Q: Great writing!!! My co-workers and I looked forward everyday to reading more about the Ortiz murder investigation. When is the next series coming out? I have a question in reference to another bizarre murder mystery that happened in South Arlington years ago. The Star Telegram did a series about the murders of three teenagers in a duplex off of Miguel lane. The investigation had many concerns with police tampering with evidence and a satanic group that was overlooked. Can you tell me how to find more information about that story? Thanks! pam

A: Pam, we haven't determined when the next one will be. As for the South Arlington murder, your best bet at this point would be to go to the Arlington PD, if that's who did the investigating, and ask for public records. In older cases a lot of public records are available.
