South Zone dove hunters will be allowed to hunt one week longer in January if a proposal is approved by the Parks and Wildlife Commission.
The proposal calls for moving one week from the end of the first season segment in November (Nov. 3-9) and putting it in January (Jan. 14-20). That means the South Zone dove seasons would run from Sept. 20-Nov. 2 and again from Dec. 26-Jan. 20. The daily limit would be 12, not to include more than two white-tipped doves.Read more
