h Cheers: To Chris and Michelle, a nice couple who stopped and changed a tire (that had blown out) for this 75-year-old woman from out of town. They even had me follow them to a service station so Chris could air up the nearly flat spare. You are special people!

— Betty Urban, Electra

h Cheers: To Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors for the professional manner in their handling of the cremation of my granddaughter, Shaylynn. Also to Destani Erwin of Vitas Hospice Care for the beautiful foot and hand casts she prepared of Shaylynn. Jeers to the hospital whose errors delayed the cremation.

— Joe Narviz, Arlington

h Cheers: To Yana Cisco, Christ Chapel children’s music praise director, for the fantastic musical production of Blast Off. Yana and her dedicated team of volunteers put on one of the best and most memorable programs featuring beautiful music, a live band, choreography and set design. What a wonderful tribute to God!

— Amy Vanderpoel, Benbrook
