hCheers: To the Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America for placing a bronze eagle outside their Dallas district office. Eagle Plaza is dedicated to scoutmasters, parents and guardians of scouts, without whose help and encouragement many of us could not have achieved our goal in scouting.
— Tom Stroope, Bedford
hCheers: To a former employee of Kroger on South University Drive, who turned in my wallet. I looked everywhere 1,000 times, and prayed. Yea good guys!
— S.J. Mackenzie, Fort Worth
iJeers: To the lowlife who stole my husband’s welding rig and tile cutter off our front porch. We have a good idea who took them. Return them within the week or we will turn you in to the police. It takes a very sorry person to steal from two elderly people.
— Mary Mathis,
North Richland Hills
