hCheers: To the Dalworthington and Pantego police and fire departments that came to the rescue of two ducklings that had fallen into a storm drain on July 26. Even though there was a mix-up of whose jurisdiction they were in probably Arlington), they didn't leave until the babies were safe.
— Jane Shackelford, Arlington
iJeers: To the man at French Lake Park on Friday who could not control his dog and it came at my dog. If you cannot control your dog on a leash, please stay at home until you learn to do so. The rest of us want to enjoy the park.
— Marilyn Gabler,
hCheers: To Marilyn in the mayor's office, and especially Linda and Robert J. of AT&T for efficiently solving a frustrating problem with my AT&T service. Once these three got involved, not only was the problem solved on timely basis, I received several calls from Linda and Marilyn, checking on progress. Thanks!
