hCheers: To the JROTC, Southwest High School. It was enjoyable seeing our youth well-mannered and disciplined. Also the military-precision flag presentation and awards ceremony. Kudos to all members, their commander, retired Col. Scioneaux, retired assistants, Master Sgt. Mack and Sgt. 1st Class Eniquez.
— George J. Anthony, Fort Worth
iJeers: To the KTVT/Channel 11 reporter covering the barricaded person incident in Dallas on March 25. The remark that police were not very helpful to the media was asinine. Our officers are there to protect and serve, not cater to the news media. You should apologize.
— J.W. (Jerry) Robbins,
hCheers: To veterinarians Lorenz and Raney and all the staff at Cooper Street Animal Hospital in Arlington. Lorenz solved a problem three other vets couldn’t and Raney saved my dog’s life in surgery. The personal care we have received over the last 15 years is always outstanding. Heartfelt thanks!
— Dawn Cummings, Grand Prairie
