hCheers: To Oncor and Standard employees, Tim and Cory, for prompt action in replacing worn power lines from the pole to the house. Three days from the call to Oncor the lines were replaced. Best customer service ever.
— B. T. Yant, Benbrook
iJeers: To the guy entering a BBQ restaurant in Grapevine making a disparaging comment about Wendy Davis seeing her bumper sticker on my SUV outside. I just grinned. Then he walked by, brushing his windbreaker across my elbow. I’m just a regular looking retired guy supporting a particular candidate. Silly me.
— Jim Bates, Watauga
hCheers: To Stacy at ophthalmologist Cary Burton’s office at Ophthalmology Associates on Oakbend Trail. She is such a knowledgeable, compassionate and caring young woman — a real asset. She reflects well on the hearts of Burton and his entire staff. Thank you, Stacy.
— Janet Manuel, Everman
