hCheers: To the two ladies who picked up my husband after he fell from a gust of wind in Ridglea Jan. 27. Inside the building were two maintenance men who worked hard to stop the bleeding on his face. You are to be commended for your concern.
— Beth Sims Hillaker, Fort Worth
hCheers: To Fort Worth Fire Department Honor Guard. They honored a fallen hero, Jack Slocum, by their presence at the visitation, funeral and cemetery despite bitterly cold winds. All in attendance appreciated their professional appearance, exemplary behavior and devotion to duty.
— Bill Mulholland, Burleson
hCheers: To Eva Howard, a city worker at the Electronics Recycling Center. While we were there we had a flat, and Eva went out of her way to be helpful and kind. She is a wonderful representative of Fort Worth city workers.
— Janis Williams, Fort Worth
