Cheers: To Birchman Baptist Church and the fantastic Christmas program Dec. 13. The choir was outstanding, and live animals added a lot to the program. 2013 ended on a great note.
— Harold E. Osborn, Fort Worth
Jeers: To the people who tell us global warming is causing the harsh winters, spending more money will lower our debt and stricter gun laws will make us safer. Doubling our debt has not made us better, Detroit and Chicago have even more murders and research ships are getting stuck in ice.
— G. D. Pursley, Fort Worth
Cheers: To Fort Worth Fire Department, Engine No. 26. These gallant gentlemen came quickly to my rescue after falling in my garage. They are truly angels of mercy. The city of Fort Worth is indeed safe and secure in their care. May God continue to bless and watch over you.
— Kathleen Rubenkoenig,
