Regarding Richard Greene’s Sunday column, he said the XL pipeline would be of economic benefit to the U.S.
First the supporters said it would create 20,000 and up jobs.
That was debunked when it was shown there would be less than 4,000 temporary jobs.
Then the people that would control the pipeline refused to sign an agreement to keep the product here.
That sludge would pollute our Texas air and then be shipped overseas. How does that benefit us?
Then he says it would enjoy the support of a majority of Congress. The ones bought and paid for by the oil industry.
