Strategy needed

“We don’t have a strategy yet,” to confront ISIS. That pretty much summarizes what the President said.

“We don’t have a strategy yet,” to confront ISIS. That pretty much summarizes what the President said.

What he didn’t say was that he had a vacation to go to, with many rounds of golf waiting for him to play. Also, there were a couple of fund-raising trips he had to see to, and, you know, being president is hard when you have to clean up so many of Bush’s mistakes.

It’s not like he can just write an Executive Order that forces ISIS to disband. He reserves that power for slowing the rise of the oceans and healing the planet, when he’s not trotting off to Stockholm to pick up the Nobel Peace Prize.

He may not have a strategy, because there can be no strategy that does not involve boots on the ground, something he will not order, because he can’t blame that one on Bush.

Sadly, ISIS has a strategy. Anyone whose religious belief differs from theirs faces decapitation. That’s their strategy.

Mr. Obama, what are you going to do about it between playing the tenth and eleventh holes?
