Regarding the events in Ferguson, Mo., it is appalling that President Obama, Attorney General Holder, and Governor Jay Nixon acknowledged their support for the Brown family and the city, but none of the three mentioned support of the Wilson family or Officer Wilson.
Gov. Nixon even stated that the case would receive swift prosecution.
Our criminal justice system is based on the premise that a person is innocent until proven guilty.
How can we expect that this officer can be guaranteed fairness when the head of our criminal justice system openly states that he is supporting the Brown family?
As American citizens, we should all be very concerned about these statements.
