When H.G. Wells and George Bernard Shaw returned from Russia with glowing reports, George Orwell wrote “Such people could not bring themselves to believe that creatures from the dark ages have come marching into the present.”

Hello Islamic State, Hamas, al Qaeda, etc.

Our President announces humanitarian efforts in Iraq. Hamas terrorists shoot thousands of rockets at Israel and the band plays on.

The Islamic State is crucifying Christians, beheading people, and we finally announce humanitarian efforts, not to destroy the Islamic State.

If the world had not stopped Israel they first time they tried to stop Hamas terrorists, we would not be witnessing death in Gaza today.

Where is the U.N.? Where are the Europeans?

Solzhenitsyn, who knows something about evil said, “The timid civilized world has found nothing with which to oppose the onslaught of a sudden revival of barefoot barbarity, other than concessions and smiles.”
