Not good for Texas

Greg Abbott is not good for Texas.
Our state right now ranks 47th in per pupil spending, our teachers are paid below the national average, and our education system as a whole is in dire need of reform.
Abbott supports vouchers, not public schools. Vouchers do not help our system, the teachers, or the students in it.
Here are the things Texas ranks No. 1 in: worker deaths, poverty level jobs, carbon emissions and corporate tax breaks.
Greg Abbott has no plans to change any of these Perry-esque policies.
When asked about his plan for education, his response was that his plan is “over 100 pages long.”
His record speaks for itself.
Is this really who you want to be our next governor? Are we going to subject our children to more cuts in education? Are we going to continue to lose people who would be excellent teachers to other professions because we refuse to meet the national pay average?
