Wake-up call

The July 12 editorial “Obama Should Take Congress’ Leaders To Border” is a call for action.

If the President could proselytize members of Congress and those closest to him in his administration and go to the border, they would see the appalling situation first-hand. So far we’ve seen only windmill politics circulating round and round, finger-pointing and ululating for billions of dollars

Laws need to be changed. Congress should not take a summer vacation, but stay in Washington and work with President Obama, or let him take executive action.
