Train not coming

I remain disappointed at the lack of progress in getting TEX Rail on track (“DART’s new line,” July 11).
Grapevine has contributed millions in sales tax dollars and has purchased land for a train station while the completion date for rail service continues to slip and the length of the project has been halved.
It was not sold to us as a part of Fort Worth’s convention and tourist program, but as a solution to traffic congestion and air pollution.
I hope the new T president can repeat his Nashville success, but unlike Johnny Cash, I don’t hear the train a-comin’.
