All Points: House speaker wants to sue the president

Speaker John Boehner has asked the House to approve his plan to sue President Barack Obama for delaying the Affordable Care Act mandate requiring many employers to offer government-approved health insurance to their employees. Boehner says he’s “protecting the Constitution,” while Obama called delaying the mandate “doing my job.” Is the suit a good way to protect the separation of legislative and executive powers or a political move that is an inappropriate use of taxpayer money?
