Speaker John Boehner has asked the House to approve his plan to sue President Barack Obama for delaying the Affordable Care Act mandate requiring many employers to offer government-approved health insurance to their employees.
Boehner says he’s “protecting the Constitution,” while Obama called delaying the mandate “doing my job.”
Is the suit a good way to protect the separation of legislative and executive powers or a political move that is an inappropriate use of taxpayer money?
