Time for governance

Turning a blind-eye is not governance.

Texas is a very large state, but making a trip to this state and not making a trip to the boarder is inexcusable for President Obama.

As a lifelong Democrat I think I am in the perfect position to speak out on this misstake.

A looming and growing problem is taking place on our boarder and needs to be addressed immediately, as in yesterday.

You cannot ask for money to address this problem without being willing to make a trip, roll your sleeves up and get to work.

Amendments to trips are made at the last minute all the time for natural disasters and this is a disaster of equal magnitude.

Any member of any party anywhere playing politics with this situation is wrong and out of touch with reality.

Perry and Obama, get over your differences, stop running from and for office and do your jobs.

— Matt Kennedy,

Arlington
