Misrepresenting a post

The July 5 Bud Kennedy column, “On Child-Bashing GOP Delegate’s Facebook Page, it’s About Racial Superiority,” is a gross, deliberate, inflammatory distortion of the truth.

The July 5 Bud Kennedy column, “On Child-Bashing GOP Delegate’s Facebook Page, it’s About Racial Superiority,” is a gross, deliberate, inflammatory distortion of the truth.

The article states that a poster to a Republican Facebook page stated the following: “Americans are not breeding while ‘the bronze master race is’…We will die out and they will win.”

This is an intentional and blatant misrepresentation of what was posted. The actual post was: “I have seen statements in the La Voz Aztlan web site that Americans are not breeding...”

Why edit the post by taking out the qualifier that the poster had read this on a pro-amnesty website and leave the impression it was the poster’s own thoughts?

By the way, the supposed “racial slur” is actually a source of pride for those in the Hispanic movement to “reconquista” the southwest. The preamble to the manifesto “El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan” states: “We do not recognize capricious frontiers on the bronze continent. We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan.”

Spare us the phony outrage.
