Lenient sentence

Does anyone else see a problem with this?

It was reported July 9 in the Star-Telegram that Randy Jay Hofstetter is a fugitive sex offender, and that there is now a reward offered for his whereabouts because he violated his sentence of probation. (See: “Reward offered for sex offender”)

He was sentenced to five years in prison for the manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, but was given only probation for the aggravated sexual assault of an 8-year old girl?

Something is very wrong here. A little girl was brutalized and her life will forever be altered.

How can the sexual assault of a little girl not be met with prison time? Who can we hold responsible for this ridiculously lenient sentence?

Someone needs to come forward with this monster’s whereabouts for the welfare of all our children!

Hofstetter should be sent to prison for a very long time.
