Iraq in retrospect

In retrospect, the Iraq war was a total disaster and completely unjustified.
We located no WMDs and no nuclear program. It cost 4,400 dead patriots, 40,000 dead Iraqis and $1 trillion by some estimates.
However President George W. Bush is not totally to blame for misleading Congress and the nation about Iraq.
Bush was mislead himself by his Desert Storm vets (Cheney, Rumsfield, Powell) who wanted Saddam dead.
Bush was just too simple to see through their biased intentions.
