Closing Gitmo

Let me see if I have this straight: President Obama approved the release of five high-ranking terrorists from Gitmo in order to achieve the release of an American soldier who may be accused of desertion.

On the other hand, it appears the U.S. made minimal effort to rescue four Americans who were killed in Benghazi.

One of the president’s stated goals has been to close Gitmo.

His recent prisoner exchange has made it more likely that more Americans will be captured and held for additional prisoner exchanges.

With an exchange ratio of 5-to-1, Gitmo could be closed in short order.
