I believe the UTA fixed tuition option is a good idea and students can really benefit from it.
By maintaining a steady tuition, not only will it help students later in life when they are struggling with paying back student loans, but it will also play a big role in encouraging them to try harder.
To qualify for all the benefits of this new plan, they must keep a 2.5 GPA and have a certain amount of hours per academic year.
By maintaining good grades and taking more classes to achieve these requirements, they will benefit in many ways, and in return have to pay less for college by avoiding tuition increases.
