Abatement for beer?

As reported March 5 in the Star-Telegram, MillerCoors wants a 10-year tax abatement.
Just when you think you’ve heard it all!
The alcohol industry should be ravaged with taxes to equal the ravages of alcohol on our society. The money should be used for rehab, hospitalizations and burial expenses related to this toxic substance.
The alcohol industry is a pied piper looking to the future. They want your children. Ka-ching, ka-ching!
These brewery owners should not have tax relief.
Unfortunately, what happens in Fort Worth doesn’t stay in Fort Worth. MillerCoors will truck their product to other cities, which increases the liability.
The call should be for restitution. No compromise. No tax abatement!
