Direction of election

As a registered voter, I am totally appalled at the “breaking” news that Dan Patrick sought help for depression years ago, seeking help for his problem. This was released just before early voting for the runoff election.
What a low blow!
If a candidate had surgery for, say, appendicitis or knee replacement in the past few years, there would be no headlines.
It just goes to show that people still put a stigma on mental treatment. Almost every family has a member who has been treated.
I commend Dan Patrick for getting help, and am appalled that his opponents in the election would stoop so low.
I am not a Dan Patrick supporter, but am disgusted at the direction this election is going.
