Patricia “Pat” Hardy has been an educator in the public schools for 43 years — high school history/world geography teacher (30 years), K-12 Social Studies Coordinator (5 years) and currently part-time Generalist Specialist (Weatherford ISD). She has amassed numerous education-related honors.

She has served on the State Board of Education for 12 years, is currently the elected Chair of the Committee on School Finance/Permanent School Fund and has been on the Committees on Instruction and School Initiatives.

Pat has traveled worldwide with students, has participated in the Fulbright Seminar Abroad Program, has been the Texas coordinator for the National Geographic Bee and mentors at George C. Clarke Elementary School. Committed, level-headed, team member, leader, consensus builder, and problem solver describe Pat. She knows what is best for the students in the state of Texas.
