I wholeheartedly support Pat Hardy in the SBOE District 11 runoff.
She is an educator who understands education, curriculum, and school finance.
If the State Board is to have any credibility with its stakeholders, they must have a thorough understanding of the complexities of public education.
Hardy listens to educators about the issues that they face. She asks us what is reasonable, what is feasible, what is successful.
It’s that level of servant-leadership that we should demand from our Board.
She serves to help the students of Texas, not to help herself. She votes for what is best for students, not what is best for the party.
And she serves as a State Board Member, not with an eye to higher office.
